On the first day of 2026, Atlanta’s own Lil Tony Official made his resolutions clear: First and foremost, he’d continue his otherworldly output, following four 2025 LPs. The album title places the rapper, who also goes by the name of Key, on a search for love, and it’s this goal that looms large on Mrs.Key. It’s less attainable than one might imagine, though, as Lil Tony sifts through betrayals and desertions throughout the project. On “Mrs.Key (Gave You My Heart),” he laments that the wounds are taking longer to heal than he would like: “Yeah, I gave you my heart and then you broke it, so it be hard to trust.” Yet there’s only one Mrs.Key. Throughout, he’s picking petals, saying, “She loves me, she loves me not.” Moments after admitting he’s lost the ability to trust, though, he clarifies his stance: “If I’m not with you, then I’m with no one.”
