On their final album, punk legends The Replacements do plenty with Paul Westerberg and a wave of acoustic guitars. “Sadly Beautiful” is heartbreakingly yearning, John Cale lending an aching viola line and Westerberg singing “Baby needs a brand new pair of eyes/Cause the ones you got now see only goodbyes.” They blaze through “My Little Problem” just before closing with “The Last,” a somber shuffle of an outro featuring a pensively slow piano and Westerberg crooning “Make this last one really the last.”
