With BITE NOW, MEOVV’s second EP, following 2025’s MY EYES OPEN VVIDE, the K-pop girl group is looking to prove something. Boasts made on the Bach-sampling trap track “DDI RO RI” include the specific (“New EP, made on Apple,” “Check the Label, it’s Black”) and the broad (“Set the trends—I’m already a cut above”), giving young members Sooin, Gawon, Anna, Narin, and Ella a chance to celebrate their position at the label that helped craft the golden KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack.
The lead single’s swagger makes a subtle slide into self-confidence for the easy-listening EDM track “In my hands” before settling into a low-key acoustic groove for “Favorite song.” While BITE NOW starts with the high-energy girl-crush thump of “Hit ’Em,” it ends with the vocally driven slink of “Revenge,” giving the young members of MEOVV a chance to prove their performance range more effectively than any boast.
