For Rwanda’s ELEMENT EleéeH, GENESIS serves as a nook where his work as a producer and ambitions as an artist have crystallized. The project follows years of lending his production (and signature “EleéeH” tag) to the careers of East African powerhouses like Bruce Melodie—who appears here on “FOU DE TOI”—and The Ben.
With GENESIS, EleéeH front-lines his career’s potential with a handful of tracks from different phases of it. There is debut single “Kashe” as well as the breezy, zouk-infused “Tombé” and then 2025’s “MAASO.”
As a collection, these tracks paint a portrait of an artist who has long operated in the background, ready to step into the light on his own terms. It’s a GENESIS fans will look back on for better understanding of who ELEMENT EleéeH was, before they knew what he was truly capable of.
