Warrant is an American glam metal band that sold more than 10 million albums worldwide during their peak of popularity in the 1990s.
ā Formed by members of Hollywood āhair metalā bands Plain Jane and Knightmare II, Warrant signed a deal with Columbia Records in 1988 following a bidding war involving several labels.
ā Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich, the bandās 1989 debut, reached No. 10 on the Billboard 200 and sold over two million albums within a year of its release.
