About Seven Seraphim
American neo-classical prog metal band Seven Seraphim consists of vocalist Greg Hupp, guitarist Andrew Szucs, bassist Chris Simpson, and drummer Brian Harris. With their fast-paced, technically advanced brand of melodic metal, the group represents a veritable oddity in its homeland, but would fit right into Europe's musical landscape of the early 2000s. In fact, it was Italy's Scarlet Records that eventually signed them and released their 2003 debut, Believe in Angels, which places somewhere between Yngwie Malmsteen's Rising Force and Angra in terms of general influence, but also throws some straight-up AOR and plenty of Queensrÿche affectations into the mix for good measure. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia
