About Vertical Worship
Vertical Worship—originally called the Vertical Church Band—is a contemporary Christian music group based out of Chicago’s Harvest Bible Chapel. Their 2012 debut, Live Worship From Vertical Church, was the group’s first of four consecutive releases to reach the Top 10 of Billboard’s Christian Albums chart. Church Songs made Worship Leader’s list of the best albums of 2015, and the magazine named the track “Spirit of the Living God” one of the year’s best songs. “Yes I Will,” the gold-certified lead single from their 2018 album Bright Faith Bold Future, earned a Dove Award nomination for Worship Song of the Year. Following 2020’s Grace Is on Our Side, the group returned in 2025 with Build an Altar, a continuing reflection on their devotion to faith.
