In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was a little kid, my father took me to see the legendary saxophonist Pharoah Sanders live in Chicago. That experience was transcendent and inspired me to become a saxophonist.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? John Coltrane, First Meditations (for quartet) Makaya McCraven, In These Times The Bad Plus, These Are the Vistas These albums all speak to me on a spiritual level. The albums also do not defy genre, the artists are highly original, and each album is a fearless artistic statement.

What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The first tour Hanging Hearts went on was a 3 week tour of Europe that changed my life forever.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To make keep writing new music, recording more albums, and playing more shows!
