Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I played a lot of bands that would play two or three shows and then call it quits. So I finally started my own! If and when it ends, it'll be on my own terms.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “The Bouncer” I've struggled for ages with this very old part of myself that kept me safe when I was young by keeping people at arm's length. That old part bounces the door even now, even when it's not necessary. This song explores trying to break that cycle.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing with Father John Misty's band was a true delight. I love being a touring sideman and am grateful to have had a chance to do it so often.
