Charlotte Day Wilson is a self-contained singer, songwriter, producer, and musician who channels her vintage soul influences into a uniquely moving sound.
• The Toronto native plays piano, guitar, bass, and saxophone, among other instruments.
• While pursuing a women's studies degree in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Charlotte honed her stage skills by playing in a funky cover band called The Wayo.
• After appearing in the first season of the HBO series Euphoria, Wilson’s self-released 2016 single “Work” became a major streaming hit. Her debut EP, CDW, arrived that same year.
• Wilson recorded much of her 2018 EP Stone Woman in her parents’ basement with help from Matt Tavares of the Canadian instrumental group BADBADNOTGOOD.
• In 2020, Wilson collaborated with Syd from The Internet on the streaming hit “Take Care of You.”
• English singer and producer James Blake sampled Wilson’s “Falling Apart” for his 2020 song “I Keep Calling.”
