Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember auditioning for a school musical at age 13 and seeing the look on my teacher's face. That's when I knew that maybe there was something there. At the play, my friend was moved to tears by my voice and I knew that was special.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Florence + the Machine, Ceremonials Kimbra, A Reckoning Stromae, Racine Carrée I love the vocal arrangements for these albums. I would BELT IT OUT to Ceremonials - helping me release some frustrations and improve my vocal range. Racine Carrée has STUNNING visuals and so much movement in the tracks. A Reckoning is a hidden gem.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Siren Call” This song has had a few iterations and it never gets old for me. It so perfectly sums up the experience I was having, and it's a beautiful journey to sing through the emotions each time I perform it.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The final show of my first tour was in Petrópolis, Brazil. I was accompanied by Drenna, a talented local band. The festival was outside and the breeze was warm and pleasant. It was a euphoric moment to get to play an entire tour I had organized.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? COLLABS, collabs and collabs. I have so many dream collaborations and I'm excited to keep pursuing them and singing with others. There is nothing more beautiful than singing in harmony with someone else and I plan to do that as I long as possible.
