In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I remember being really young, maybe 1st grade, and I was sitting in the car with my dad in our driveway and "Frankenstein" by Edgar Winter came on. He said I couldn't get out of the car until we listened to the whole song. It's a good one. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
A Day to Remember, For Those Who Have Heart
Rebelution, Peace of Mind (Deluxe)
Sublime, Sublime: Gold
I grew up a metal head. Hence the A Day To Remember. They were my favorite band for a long time and are still up there. That's where a lot of our heavier sound came from. The other two are some of the first that shaped my love for modern reggae. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Fireside (feat. TreeHouse!)”
This tune is about the early stages of my music learning. My family and friends would always get together and have these campfire hangouts. Lots of people would bring instruments and we'd all play and sing songs. I learned a lot during that time. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
We opened up for The Wailers in 2019. It was at a venue called Bogart's in Cincinnati, OH. I had been going to see shows there since I was about 13 years old and to be on that stage in front of a nearly sold out crowd (900+ strong) was unforgettable. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
Absolutely. As soon as one bucket list item is crossed off about 10 more go on the list. Some include playing epic venues like Red Rocks, sharing the stage/collaborating with some of our musical heroes and headlining some of our favorite festivals.
