Artist Biography
An electro-rock outfit from Denmark, Spleen United -- Bjarke Niemann on vocals and guitar, Kasper Nørlund on synthesizer and vocals, Rene Wenher on synthesizer, Gaute Niemann on bass and synthesizer, and Jens Kinch on drums (although Kinch would eventually leave the band to pursue fatherhood) -- released their first album, Neanderthal, in 2008. Spleen United's debut was a number one chart hit in Denmark, and respected sources such as England's NME drew positive critical comparisons between the group and such big-name acts as the Killers and Muse. ~ Chris True
