Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I heard Herbie Hancock's "Chameleon" in a 1987 Datsun Maxima with the sunroof open on a beautiful summer day in CT on the way to the lake with my best friend. That 15 minute funk masterpiece seemed to never end.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Erykah Badu, New Amerykah, Pt. 1 (4th World War) Soul Coughing, El Oso The Beatles, Abbey Road (Remastered) These three albums have all the factors I look for in a great album: 1. A theme that ties the record together (not just a collection of songs) 2. A sonic signature 3. They grew on me over time.

Tell us why you chose this song. “We Can't Afford to Start Em Up” I heard a demo version of Stephen singing this tune and the bass line came to me. I knew it would fit if I played this funky counterpoint with distortion and an envelope filter. It's a rare moment when you get struck with an idea like that.
