Runaway June is an American country music trio best known for their 2018 hit, “Buy My Own Drinks.”
∙ Formed by one-time members of several country groups, including Stealing Angels, Runaway June scored a minor country hit with their first single, 2016’s “Lipstick.”
∙ The trio’s breakthrough hit, “Buy My Own Drinks,” reached No. 8 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart—the first time a female group had reached the chart’s Top 20 since 2005.
∙ In 2018, Runaway June received a CMA Awards nomination for New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year.
∙ Recorded by award-winning producer Dann Huff (Faith Hill, Taylor Swift), the trio’s debut album, 2019’s Blue Roses, reached No. 36 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart.
