Artist Biography
Under the stage name Soccer Mommy, Sophie Allison has leveled up from home recorder to headliner, earning multiple Billboard-charting hits long the way.
∙ Throughout 2015 and 2016, prior to landing a record deal, she released a handful of lo-fi home recordings as digital EPs.
∙ Her 2018 debut LP, Clean, landed in the Top 10 on a number of year-end best-of lists, including those of The New York Times, Stereogum, and Paste.
∙ She wrote the song “Feed” for 2020 horror film The Turning, and she appeared on its soundtrack alongside such artists as Courtney Love, Alison Mosshart, and Mitski.
∙ color theory, Soccer Mommy’s 2020 sophomore album, reached the Top 10 on Billboard’s Alternative chart.
∙ In 2020, she released two remixed singles from color theory, featuring Actress’ reworking of “crawling in my skin” and Unknown Mortal Orchestra’s revision of “circle the drain.”
