About Parcels
Formed by a group of high school pals who first dabbled in funk, jazz, and roots music, Australian indie rockers Parcels found success after adopting a ’70s-inspired electronic sound—and aesthetic.
∙ In 2016, the chillwave-filled EP Clockscared earned them a record deal from French indie label Kitsuné and a nomination for Reeperbahn Festival’s ANCHOR Award for emerging artists.
∙ Daft Punk extended a rare invitation to collaborate after seeing the band perform at their very first French gig, resulting in Parcels’ 2017 breakthrough hit, the disco-inspired “Overnight.”
∙ Actress Milla Jovovich, an avowed fan, appeared in the slasher flick-inspired video for “Withorwithout, from their 2018 self-titled full-length debut.
∙ The 2018 summery throwback jam “Tieduprightnow” was a radio hit in Mexico and Australia, and it has racked up nearly 7 million views online.
