About Foggieraw
Foggieraw's sly, relaxed, and conversational microphone command suits productions that are alternately soulful, jazz-tinged, and trap-styled. The Ghana-born, Maryland-based rapper originally performed as Jayo, but he quickly built a bigger following in the 2010s with his new alias, optimizing his social media presence as he independently released the projects Fogtavious Vandross (2018) and Fogtavious Vandross 2 (2022). The Alicia Keys-sampling track "Psalm 62," followed by collaborations with the likes of Ari Lennox and Summer Walker, increased anticipation for his next full-length, With No Due Respect, issued through a licensing deal with major-label Mercury.
