A versatile and energetic American hard rock crew, Another Day Dawns surfaced in the late 2010s with a sound that combines muscular post-grunge, ruminative heavy metal, and melody-forward alternative rock.
Founded in 2010 in Lehighton, Pennsylvania by drummer Nick McGeehan and guitarist Tyler Ritter, they morphed into a trio with the arrival of powerhouse vocalist Dakota McGeehan. Drawing inspiration from artists like Led Zeppelin, Foo Fighters, Slipknot, and Avenged Sevenfold, the band honed their skills locally and eventually began landing key support slots alongside hard-hitting contemporaries like Avatar, Buckcherry, Hinder, and Cold. In 2016 they caught the attention of multi-platinum producer David Ivory (the Roots, Halestorm), who helped to assemble the group's debut single, 2017's "Love She's After." Three years later ADD unveiled their debut EP, Stranger, which was recorded at Dark Horse Studios in Franklin, Tennessee and produced by Joe Rickard (Red, Starset). ~ James Christopher Monger
