Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The first time I heard Reconstruction Site by The Weakerthans was probably the first time that music punched me in the gut. It totally opened up my mind and pushed me in the direction of writing and playing music.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Red Hot Chili Peppers, By the Way The Weakerthans, Reconstruction Site Townes Van Zandt, Flyin' Shoes These three albums have been on repeat since the first day I heard them. They never get old.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “The Shift” My favorite song on the album. I wrote this guitar riff at rehearsal and we jammed on it for a while. I went home and immediately wrote the rest of the song. It all showed up super easily and naturally. I never get sick of playing that song.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The first time I got to hear "If I'm Alive" played on the radio. Special moment.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? The dream is to play Red Rocks Amphitheater. Doesn't get much better than that.
