Artist Biography
With the original line up-of Bossanova starting out with Michael Boegh (bass), Tony Koelwyn (drums), Chris Storrow (vocals/ guitar) and Greg Macdonald (organ/Moog), the Vancouver four-piece represented an uplifting indie that reflected upon other Northwestern acts such as Beat Happening, Cub and Modest Mouse. As captured on their 1997 debut EP I Give You...Bossanova, the quartets trademark of accompanied keyboards furthered their ascetics of pop. Following up with their second self-titled EP released that same year, Heather Campbell would eventually join the Bossanove ranks to add her own wall of organs. ~ Mike DaRonco
