Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
The first song I became obsessed with was The Verve's Bittersweet Symphony. On the way to school and back I would sing it the whole bicycle ride, making up harmonies to the part that was in my head.

“Thistle”
I wrote this song for the flowers by the wayside, asking them to stick around despite the mess we make, when I had just become a mother. I was scared my child would never know the flowers like I did. I'm hoping we are not too late to turn the tide!
