In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. TroYo learned guitar and piano from his dad at six, hearing everything from rock to jazz. I fell in love with music in middle school and started DJing nonstop. Those early moments shaped us.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Justice, Justice Kid Cudi, Man on the Moon: The End of Day (Deluxe) Nas, Illmatic Cross by Justice showed me electronic music can be raw and genre bending. Man on the Moon: The End of Day by Kid Cudi pushed boundaries with its mix of styles. Illmatic by Nas taught me the power of authenticity and real storytelling.

It is for our crew of seven who fueled the late night sessions that inspired everything. The sound captures what After Ours is about: deep grooves, emotion, and real dancefloor energy.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Releasing our first song was the moment everything clicked. We had been creating for years, so seeing people connect with it meant everything. It opened the floodgates and now we have more than 10 tracks ready to go.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We are just getting started. Festivals are a huge goal because we want to bring our sound to bigger stages. We also want to collaborate more and keep pushing ourselves creatively.
