Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I can remember countless backyard BBQs, family gatherings and Christmases where albums by Paul Kelly, John Fogerty, and Bob Dylan were in the background, acting as the soundtrack while my dad was cooking rissoles or steaks.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Paul Kelly & The Stormwater Boys, Foggy Highway
Ryan Adams, Heartbreaker
Tom Waits, Mule Variations
I love great songwriters and to me, genre is irrelevant. Strong imagery and timeless lyrics are the essential ingredients for me and these albums have that in spades. I'd also mention Bob Dylan, Gregory Alan Isakov and John Fogerty as all time heroes

“East of Eden”
‘East of Eden’ is inspired by John Steinbeck’s novel of the same name, and partly inspired by a high school breakup. Steinbeck is my absolute favourite author and this book floored me when I read it.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
In the past year I was a finalist at the Queensland Music Awards, I performed at 2 music festivals, and I ran a series of songwriting and recording workshops for high school students in regional QLD. All of these were highlights!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
I'd love to have a song of mine placed in a movie, and to tour the USA with my music.
