What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kendrick Lamar, To Pimp a Butterfly Radiohead, In Rainbows The Beach Boys, Pet Sounds These albums have defined for me what an album should be. I believe that albums should be an experience, whether it conveys ideas from personal experience or a collection of great songs. I always find myself back to these albums when making a record.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Circle of a Loop” Circle of a Loop, to me, is the first song where I truly enjoyed the music that I made. I found a voice that felt unique and genuine in my work. In fact, "Loss of Innocence" was the first album where I felt truly proud of what I had made.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? To me, it's the messages I get from making these songs. Making an album is draining, but I'm so thankful for the people around me that let me know how much it means to them. I think those messages keep me going.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To go further than doing music. I would LOVE to do creative projects that have nothing to do with music. To me, that's a major bucket list item right now!!
