Artist Biography
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The first time my music was played on the BBC was around 2001. The late John Peel (of the Peel Sessions) used a track of mine to open his show a few weeks in a row. It was incredibly cool!
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Staring At the Sun” Staring at the Sun was written with the intent of soundtracking a wonderful sunrise after a night out. It's bliss. It has a spaced-out groove but drags you on a journey back to the dancefloor - I don't think there is a single thing I would adjust.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Probably remixing Orbital or The Crystal Method. Growing up in the 90s, these guys were my icons. Getting to work with them is the greatest compliment I could get.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'd like to play burning man again, though it has changed a lot over the years. I would love to keep working on music that makes me happy.
