Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Discovering the power of plugging guitar into an amplifier and letting everything go. Turning out, drowning out and working out the world in 4/4.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Gram Parsons, Grievous Angel Neil Young, After the Goldrush The Jayhawks, Hollywood Town Hall At the time the material for Stillhouse was percolating, these albums were on constant rotation.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Automobile” We were deep into the session for The Great Reprise and Zeke took a toy drum set off the wall of artifacts in this heaven of recording. A lyric sheet feel to the floor and we improvised this tune in a haze of barrel age and a cloud of smoke.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The band flew to Utrecht to play the Blue Highways Festival. A great country, a great festival and a great memory for the boys.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We would love to grow together again and play another round of shows and record some new work. The story isn't over, the tale has more to tell.
