In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. We played a backyard festival for one of our first shows, and it was cool because we were nobodies at the time, but the energy and vibe of the festival matched our music and we made some lifelong friends at that show.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Luge, I Love It Here, I Live Here The Contortionist, Language (Rediscovered Edition) The Dillinger Escape Plan, Calculating Infinity These albums showcase some of our favourite sounds and styles of music. We love anything that is proggy, unusual and just straight up unique.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “S.H.A.M.A.N” This was the first time that we thought out a section that followed a specific counting pattern, in this case the outro of the song. We initially thought it was too hard to pull off, but we managed it and it's a favourite part to play live now.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? When we got to play Arctangent festival in Bristol, that was preceded by a Europe tour with Plini and Night Verses. Selling vinyls for the first time on that tour was also really special.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? The DREAM bucket list would have to include touring the world with some of our favourite bands such as King Crimson, Tool and The Mars Volta. We also want to play some more festivals such as Glastonbury or Mona.
