Artist Biography
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was little, one of my friends was a Cure fan and in the school bus we would listen to a Cure playlist. I always asked her to play Charlotte Sometimes over and over because I thought there was a secret message hidden in that song. (I still do).
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Air, Moon Safari Massive Attack, Mezzanine (Deluxe) Wire, Chairs Missing Remastered It's impossible to pick only 3 but besides the fact that these are canonical references they are perfect albums that had a big influence on my music and feature some of my favorite songs of all time - Teardrop, Outdoor Miner, Kelly Watch The Stars
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Angelica Dub” I love dub and I've been wanting to write dub-influenced tracks for a while. I obsessed over this track for months and the result is a rather unique dub-influenced French art-pop track that sounds exactly the way I wanted, which is rare.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing in complete darkness in an Oregon forest for a festival and touring by myself all over Europe.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to write a perfect pop song as good as Happy by Pharell, an experimental album worthy of Brian Eno's best work and finish my seven-album epic project BIG GREY SUN.
