In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. In 2015 while founder Chris Cyrus attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, the Tide was formed to combine improvisation with uncommon genres. After conquering the city's basement scene, the band moved on to New England clubs and music festivals.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Grateful Dead, Cornell 5/8/77 (Live) Phish, Phish: 9/14/99 Boise State University Pavilion, Boise, ID (Live) Both live albums perfectly showcase why the Dead and Phish hold their titles as legends and pioneers of live music. Sublime's "40 oz" remains one of the most influential albums in Cyrus's studio arrangement style. Also recommended: Babylon by Bus

What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? 2016: First national tour and album 2017: First music festival, 2 battle victories, and awards 2018: First sold out show 2019: "Best New Act" nomination 2020: First music video and "Top 100 Bands" 2021: First studio EP and "Best Live Act" nomination
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Performing in space. Like, all the way out there in outer space. For aliens.
