About The Misty
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. [S] I would have to go with my dad showing me Johnny Cash as a kid, listening to him in the back of his truck. Maybe that's why we all ended up dressing in black all those years later. To this day I still listen to him, hasn't aged a day.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Temples, Sun Structures The Coral, Roots and Echoes The Zombies, Odessey and Oracle These albums are all gems and a lot of what we do can be traced back to each of them. The chords and melodies of Temples, the style and attitude of The Coral, and the elegance of The Zombies captured on the same instruments that made Sgt. Pepper.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Atlas & the Pyramids” [C&S] This song stands out in our eyes as the one that encapsulates all we cherish musically : vocal harmonies, heavy riffs, 60's chord progressions, surf guitars ... we even managed to chuck a little bit of the Bond theme in the solo. All-rounder.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? [C] Probably the time we all got together. I met Steve and Archie in the space of a few days, and these moments seem so precious when I look back. Because things could have been so different had they not happened.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? [S] There's probably more on our bucket list than there isn't at this point. Festivals, touring, recording, there's so many boxes we have yet to tick... but all in due time, we will exhaust that list sure enough, we're in it for the long run.
