About RIAN
Blending different pop styles, Austrian musician Rian made a name for himself with lighthearted songs that humorously address everyday situations. Initially, the Carinthian artist focused on English-language mainstream pop, releasing his first single, "Belong to You", in 2017, followed in 2018 by a self-titled debut album on the Viennese label Wohnzimmer Records. A few years later, however, he switched to German lyrics and landed a social media hit in 2022 with the song "Schwarzes Schaf" (Black Sheep). His breakthrough came in 2024 with the single "Verwandtschaftstreffen" (Family Reunion), which reached #5 on the Austrian charts. The following year, Rian won three Amadeus Awards for this song – "Ö3 Song of the Year," "Songwriter of the Year," and the main award in the "Pop/Rock" category. In early 2026, he presented his debut album, Blumendisko (Flower Disco), which reached #2 in Austria and also made it into the German Top 20.
