In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I (Tom) loved the Bryan Adams album 'Waking Up The Neighbours' when I was little, and I would mime-perform it for my family when I was six years old. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Queens of the Stone Age, Songs for the Deaf
Rage Against the Machine, Rage Against the Machine
Tori Amos, Boys For Pele
Last summer we were crazy enough to perform 'Songs for the Deaf' in its entirety at the Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto. We chose RATM due to a pandemic-era streaming show we put on called 'Rage Against the Covid 19'. Tori is just cuz I love her. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“You're So Mine”
I love this song because it's the cheekiest, most playful song I have ever written. I wrote this with the intention of delivering a tongue-in-cheek, boogie-tastic rock n' roll song, and I do believe that we delivered. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
During the pandemic-related stay at home orders, we decided to do a live streaming concert from home comprised exclusively of Rage Against the Machine songs. We called it 'Rage Against the Covid 19'. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
We would love to open for Queens of the Stone Age.
