As part of a show biz family act that became virtually synonymous with wholesome entertainment, Marie Osmond has enjoyed a lengthy career switching between several different businesses. Though the singer, actress, author, philanthropist, and talk show host was never officially part of her family's famous singing group, she landed a massive hit in 1973 with her remake of the country-pop ballad "Paper Rose," which soared to number one on the Billboard Country Chart.
