In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
Ironically my earliest memory of being inspired to engage in music was seeing the film 'School of Rock' for the first time when I was just 6 years old. When the credits rolled I turned to my Dad and said 'I want to play Guitar', and so I did. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Brothers Osborne, Skeletons
Chris Stapleton, Starting Over
Tom Petty, Wildflowers
These 3 albums essentially sum up the kind of artist I want to be, they all possess that modern yet country sound that I yearn to re-produce. 'Wildflowers' in particular is a spectacular album, one that pushes me to be a better songwriter. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Safe with You”
This song was my true Debut single that I put out with my producer Alex Williams. It's the song that made me want to write original music again, and without it nothing else I've done would have seen the light of day. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
I'd say my first memorable moment was when my song 'Safe With You' was played and complimented on Absolute Country Radio in the UK. This is a station I listen to daily. so hearing my own music alongside my favourite artists was certainly surreal. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
Having just started out as an original artist, my bucket list is certainly a long one. One of my biggest goals right now is to fly out to Nashville and record a full country album with my producer and band, definitely something I'm working towards.
