About Holdyn Barder
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
My love for playing music began in 2013; I discovered a blue, guitar-shaped paperclip on a tennis court one day. I took it as a sign from God to pursue music and little did I know that I'd be packing my bags for Nashville six years afterwards.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Kenny Chesney, When the Sun Goes Down (Deluxe Version) Bonus Track Version
Luke Bryan, Crash My Party (Deluxe)
Sam Hunt, Montevallo
It’s hard to narrow down my favorite albums, but these ones come to mind. Luke, Kenny, and Sam have shaped my songwriting, artistry, and sonic identity. Their music takes me back to simpler times and I hope that my music can do the same for my fans.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Stone Harbor”
If you're wanting to learn a little bit more about me, listen to this song. Stone Harbor, NJ is the tiny beach town I grew up visiting on summer vacation. This peaceful place changed me in many positive ways; I try to go back to visit whenever I can.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
I got the opportunity to open for Post Malone on The BIG ASS Stadium Tour’s Travelin’ Tailgate at Citizens Bank Park on May 24, 2025. You may know that I'm a huge Philly sports fan, so this was an incredible memory of mine that I will never forget.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
I’d love to headline a sold-out, hometown show at Lincoln Financial Field in Philly. I want to be a consistent stadium-touring entertainer. My goal is to meet as many fans as possible and to give them the absolute best show that I'm able to put on.
