Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of the earliest memories I have discovering music on my own was stealing a mix CD from my oldest brother. I hated every track but one, "Jóga" off Björk's Homogenic. I was moved. It would be another decade before I listed to the entire album.

I wrote this song in a single sitting while living in New Orleans. In many ways it still feels like my most effortless and most genuine song. It holds a special place in my heart.
