About Mawar de Jongh
Starting out in acting as a teen, Netherlands-born Mawar de Jongh branched into music in 2018 with the synthy, funky bounce of “Heartbeat” before switching gears and scoring chart success with the following year’s acoustic-driven “Lebih Dari Egoku”. Her charming, soft vocals are typically flanked by warm acoustic instrumentation—guitar and piano ably underscore her voice’s pristine quality on cuts like the starry-eyed “Tiba Tiba Hilang” or her assured cover of pop-rock outfit Letto’s mid-2000s hit “Ruang Rindu”.
