About MEMORIALS
With a sound that blends the richness and unexpected delights of the best soundtrack music and psychedelia, MEMORIALS is a duo formed by Verity Susman (ex-Electrelane) and Matthew Simms (ex-Wire and It Hugs Back). After making a pair of acclaimed soundtracks in the early 2020s, they began recording their own more song-based music, the result being a very assured and musically challenging debut album, 2024's Memorial Waterslides. All Clouds Bring Not Rain, from 2026, found them consolidating their sound and simultaneously exploring new sonic territory.
Members of MEMORIALS include, or have included, Verity Susman.
