About Mau Mau
Italian experimental band Mau Mau made its official debut in 1992, led by singer/guitarist Luca Morino, accordionist Fabio Barovero, and djembe player Tate Nsongan. In November of that same year, EMI released Sauta Rabel. Playing acoustic sounds combined with trance and ambient techno, the group recorded its second album, called Bass Paradis, in 1994. After participating in different festivals around the world, Mau Mau issued Viva Mamanera in 1996. ~ Drago Bonacich
