Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was 5 years old in Hemlock, one of the Finger Lakes of upstate NY, when a new neighbor moved in next door, G. Elwyn Meixner. He had a jugband, The Wilderness Family. Banjo, accordion, upright bass, washboard - they would practice in my driveway!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Cannonball Adderley Quintet, Mercy, Mercy, Mercy (Live at 'the Club') Pink Floyd, Meddle (2016 Remaster) Rayna Gellert & Friends, Ways of the World Cannonball quintet for the grooves, Pink Floyd for the vibes, and Rayna's fiddling for the whole package.
