About MICO
Combining a timeless affection for pop/punk bite with the intimacy of bedroom pop and a well-built online fan base, MICO has been making strides toward mainstream recognition in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. His early independent releases, like EPs 21st century heartbreak (2020) and second thoughts (2022), coincided with the onset of the pandemic, but his intimate musical approach and online savvy won audiences over. By the time he released 2023 EPs the tears we fight and the afterparty and 2024's internet hometown hero, he'd built up enough clout to sell out shows in North America and Europe. Columbia Records signed him in 2025, releasing his debut LP, When the lights turn on, a year later.
