Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As early as I can remember, music has been my gender-safe space. Whether in singing songs by Amy Grant as a kid in my Dad's church, Twirling and purring to the ethereal sounds of Stevie Nicks, or exploding with the feminine rage of Hole as a teen.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on AppleĀ Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Indigo Girls, Swamp Ophelia Lauryn Hill, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill Tori Amos, Boys For Pele The white heat of Tori's feminine rage & grief hit me HARD as a teen in a way I wouldn't fully understand for a long time. Indigo Girls gave me my first taste of communal queer joy. "Miseducation..." blew my music mind wide open and I'm still not ok.

I wrote it during a "nonbinary crisis" about the power of feminine softness, inspired by Florence Welch and Stevie Nicks. It followed me through my transition and feels even more badass now.
