In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Playing as a duo for the last show at Record Theater. Grace and I thought it would just be a side project at that point. We had no idea what Grosh would turn into.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? A Perfect Circle, Mer De Noms Converge, Jane Doe Tedeschi Trucks Band, Revelator These are some of Grace, Megan, and Josh's favorite records. They represent how diverse our influences as a band are, ranging from blues, hard rock and metal. Derek Trucks has had a particularly big influence on Grace's guitar playing.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “On the Patio” This is a fan favorite and one of our favorites to play live! Megan wrote the lyrics about her now husband, and the middle jam/guitar solo has evolved into something completely different when we play it live.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? We got to play a private party for Tedeschi Trucks Band in Buffalo, NY, and hung out with the whole band! This led to us working with their former bassist Tim Lefebvre, who produced our album Start Again at Sonic Ranch in Tornillo, Texas.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Tons! We'd love to tour Europe, specifically the UK. Getting to tour or open for Larkin Poe or Tedeschi Trucks Band would also be a drum come true.
