Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
I was always obsessed with the piano, even before I really knew how to play. Whenever I saw a piano, I would immediately go check it out and bang around on it without knowing what I was doing. It was like a magnet!

These are some of the most influential albums on my approach to composing and playing. Each artist is so intentional with their musical choices and have perfected "modern" jazz, in my opinion!

“Hallelujah”
This might be my all-time favorite cover of ours. Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" is a masterpiece in its own right, and we really tried to stay true to the reverent and prayerful aspect of it.
