Artist Biography
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest musical memories entail hearing "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill" in the fourth grade. I remember being introduced to James Brown and The O'Jays without understanding the music. The most life-changing musical memory came from hearing DMX.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bob Marley & The Wailers, Legend: The Best of Bob Marley and the Wailers (Deluxe Edition) Deluxe Edition James Brown, Get On Up: The James Brown Story (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) Lauryn Hill, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill I chose these three albums because they remind me of the first time I heard emotion being portrayed through song. The artistry in each album allowed you to experience the artist, their emotion, and their life. These albums made me ask life questions.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Never Let You Down” The song Never Let You Down is special to me, as well as all of the songs I have composed and written. However, this particular song is one that reflects my relationship with Abba and my understanding of how that shows in marriage with my wife.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments in my career so far, is opening for Julian Marley on his tour at The Senate in Columbia, South Carolina. I did not get the opportunity to meet him personally but, I met a few individuals who traveled with him.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I do not believe in a bucket list because my life does not belong to me, it belongs to Abba. I hope that Abba grants me a life that is lived well with my wife and if He grants me a long life that is lived well with my wife, I am blessed either way.
