About Do Lollies
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is my family gathering around the piano while I played and everyone sang together. It felt so normal and joyful—I honestly thought that’s just what all families did.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jo Stafford, The Ultimate Capitol Collection: Jo Stafford Louis Jordan, The Best of Louis Jordan Various Artists, Helen Kane & Annette Hanshaw (Recorded 1928-1951) We love the playful energy of Louis Jordan’s “Ain’t Nobody Here But Us Chickens,” the sultry sweetness of Jo Stafford’s “You Belong to Me,” and the charm and whimsy of Helen Kane and Annette Hanshaw’s classic Boop Boop A Doop style.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Sing Little Jazzy” One song we love is Sing Little Jazzy. It’s full of playful energy and vintage charm, and it just makes you want to smile and dance. It captures the joyful spirit at the heart of everything we create.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The Do Lollies blend vintage jazz, bluegrass flair, and heartfelt originals. A career highlight? Playing a magical 1920s soiree at Sun Valley’s Argyros Theater, where guests danced the Charleston and treated us like stars.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We’d love to play in more places, bring joy to new audiences, and maybe—just maybe—perform a kazoo solo at Carnegie Hall. Making people smile and feel connected through music is always at the top of our list.
