Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. We all have our own story — Ozzy, Metallica, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin and more. Hard rock and metal ran deep. But shaped by Voivod, King's X, Faith No More, Rush, and Dream Theater — that's what set Izmatik on their own path. And we're still on it.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Dream Theater, Images and Words King's X, King's X Voivod, Nothing Face Voivod's Nothing Face — pure sci-fi atmosphere that sparks my imagination. King's X's King's X — soulful, heavy, grooving and like nothing else. Dream Theater's Images and Words — progressive power that blows your mind and lifts your soul.

Our most ambitious release — long acoustic intro, arco contra bass, glockenspiel. Lyrically written by Anna Vieste, it's about reclaiming childhood wonder and curiosity. Hints of multiverse theory throughout. This one made us grow.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Building Progmatik, our Tokyo prog event — Japanese and international acts, passionate fans, a growing community of people who love this music as much as we do. Watching that grow has been as rewarding as anything we've done as a band.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To reach everyone out there who loves this kind of music but hasn't found us yet. To share a stage with our heroes. And most of all, to inspire someone the way we were inspired — because music is powerful enough to change a life.
