Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
My first performance was at 4 years old, when I was plucked from the crowd by a band because I was dancing so expressively for their entire set. I sang Twinkle Twinkle Little Star with full band accompaniment on a hayrack stage, and a star was born!

“Cicada Song”
I lean into the weird, the camp, the drama with my music. Cicada song doesn't fit in a box, and is all about taking up space and making noise, which is a perfect embodiment of me as an artist... Or maybe it's just a song about cicadas...
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
Going to Australia for vacation, and walking into a Ski Chalet on day 2 of this vacation and sitting down at their upright piano. The bartender turned off the radio, and the manager walked by and booked me for a gig the very next day!
