In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My father was a musician and played weddings, bars and coffee shops around where I grew up. My earliest musical memories are of crawling into my mother's lap at some bar in West Virginia, listening to my dad since Creedence, Bob Dylan etc.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Courtney Marie Andrews, Old Flowers John Hiatt, Crossing Muddy Waters John Prine, Bruised Orange I like good songs. These three albums are collections of mind bending-ly good writing sung by singular voices. I could listen all day, every day.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Winning the Kerrville Newfolk Competition has been, thus far, the highlight of my career.
